Hi, I'm Annie.
UX Designer with a sociologist's mindset, focused on understanding people first.
Iโm based in Seattle, designing mobile and web products that need to feel clear, human, and trustworthy. My background is in sociology and UX design.
My journey into UX started with a simple question: why do people behave the way they do? Studying sociology taught me to observe, analyze, and empathize with people in context. Those skills carried straight into user research, journey mapping, and design thinking.
I believe good design starts with understanding people: their motivations, their frustrations, and their everyday experiences. Whether I'm interviewing users or mapping a journey, I approach every project with curiosity and a commitment to designing with people in mind at every step.
Outside of work, I'm usually doodling, journaling, reading, or watching self-care videos. I also like to game, which has made me very opinionated about onboarding flows.

The values
behind my work
Empathy
I start with real people, using interviews, personas, and journey maps before designing.
Teamwork
I design alongside CEOs, developers, writers, and marketers around real constraints.
Feedback-driven
I share early and revise freely, even letting go of a favorite idea if feedback says so.
Curiosity
I ask why people behave the way they do, then dig into research to find answers.
